Dr D K Y College of Pharmacy has been established under the aegis of Shreyansh Educatin Society. The lush green campus is situated in Jaunpur, the knowledge hub of the country. The college is approved by Pharmacy Council of India, Board Of Technical Education, Lucknow. Today’s world pharmaceutical market is about $1.5 trillion. The pharmaceutical industry in India is developing at a galloping pace to catch up with the global markets and to register a significant presence in the globalised scenario. Now, Indian pharmaceutical sector industry supplies over 55 percent of global demand for various vaccines, 50 per cent of generic demand in the US and 20 percent of all medicine in UK. India contributes the second largest share of pharmaceutical and biotech workforce in the world. Today pharmaceutical sector in India is valued about US$ 40 billion.
